My name is Mara (she/her)
Hi! I am an artist and graphic designer constantly striving to improve my techniques, expand my skill set, and find new opportunities to grow. I grew up in Connecticut and in the wonderful year they call 2020, I acquired a bachelor’s degree in Studio Arts and Graphic Design from Stonehill College in Easton, Massachusetts. I am a New Englander at heart but recently moved down south to explore all that the creative community in Saint Petersburg, Florida has to offer.

While I am primarily an abstract expressive acrylic painter, I am devoted to creative exploration and experimentation. My other interests include hand lettering, printmaking, figure drawing, and much more. My passion truly lies in the process and expression of creating. I love the push and pull that creation calls for. Every mark and move has a purpose, whether it ends up in the final product or not.
As a humanitarian who is deeply passionate about sustainability, I always strive to find new inspiration in my environment and wherever my travels take me. In my current endeavors, I am teaching myself oil painting, delving into the portraiture of both humans and pets. Stay tuned and get connected via social media for updates!
